General Notes (Husband)

Letter from Evelyn Mann Moses, April 1998:
Raymond was inducted in the first call for World War II and spent 5 years in service. In going thru 3 inches of onion skin copies he saved I learned a lot. He worked w/ IBM computers and thus was put in charge of a IBM Machine record Unit which did payroll for service men & other duties. He was in New Caladonia a couple of years and then in Phillipine Islands in General McArthurs Headquarters. In going thru these papers I discovered he was a courier of very important information to other islands. This was confidential material and I didn't even know about it. He always carried out orders. If it were confidential material, he kept information that way. He was a very patriotic man.
He was a Marketing Account Executive when he retired after 36 yrs w/ IBM.
